In case you're wondering...

My name is Troy Harvey Graham. I am currently working as a passionate Creative Director & Head of Copy at Imagination in Sydney – and it’s great. But, if truth be told, it wasn’t always like this.

Many years ago I was working on air at 2CH & 2GB, panel operating for Clive Robertson and Bob Rogers, as well as back-announcing the Sunday night and mid-dawn “drowsy” shifts. Shortly afterwards I shifted my musical tastes somewhat and moved to Sydney’s Triple M, where I drove around in a flamboyantly coloured street wagon, handing out free junk and promotional material to the ravenous general public. This also allowed me to make all-too-brief on-air daily announcements of my location and bounty of junk.

To this day, no-one says “get down and grab a stack of icy cold Coke now!” quite like I do.

For reasons yet to be determined or wrangled out of me by a psychiatrist (believe me, they’re trying), I chose to make a unforced move into an office environment, foolishly lured by the offer of a free internet connection and unlimited instant coffee. I  spent the next few years writing copy, crafting ideas, writing more copy, managing clients and managing to avoid as much work as humanly possible in order to be available to write as much copy as possible.

I have always written. It is my calling, it is my passion, and it consumes the majority of my time. Once I begin a piece, I will work like a dog (or, perhaps some other, more hard-working animal, like the amazing and charming sea otter) until it is complete.

Over the years I have been fortunate enough to write for advertising campaigns, television programs, radio shows, corporate newsletters, short films, magazines, wedding speeches, charity events, recording artists and even in fresh cement (I was eleven and have since apologised). My first book, "Diagnosis Male", was published by HarperCollins Australia in August 2011.

I have also recently written three multi-award winning short screenplays and I am now in negotiations to have them produced.

I do own a CV, but it is merely a formal (and frankly, quite dull) way of saying everything written above in a more structured manner. I am extremely passionate about what I do and would love the opportunity to show you this through my work in the future.
